Tiësto has been productive during quarantine, dropping his newest collaboration, a baby daughter, this week.
“Say hi to my daughter Viola Margreet Verwest,” the Dutch producer wrote Thursday (Nov. 12) on Twitter. “She gives me feelings I never knew I had in me. And her mom is a real champion. How can you look so pretty after just giving birth?!”
The birth announcement was accompanied by photos of Tiësto holding his first-born child, alongside an image of his wife Annika Backes sleeping with Viola on her chest. The dance world veteran married the model last September in a ceremony in the Utah desert.
The baby news brought a cavalcade of cheer from the dance music community. “Welcome to the club! Happy for you!!!” Dada Life responded. “Wow wow wow, congratulations to you both!” wrote Laidback Luke, while Tritonal wrote, “u growing up brother! welcome to Dad-Hood, we bout that LIFE!”
