April 24 might as well been named Porter Robinson Day on Twitter, with the platform going wild in the wake of the producer dropping Nurture, his seven-years-in-the-making sophomore album. Artists including G Jones, Rezz, Jai Wolf and more dropped into the feed to congratulate Robinson on the album, which has already garnered millions of streams and many glowing reviews.

The festivities continued the following day, with Robinson playing the album during the second iteration of his virtual festival, Secret Sky. Robinson’s set launched with him on the piano, then jumping around onstage and singing the album single “Something Comforting.” (While the vocals are pitched up, Robinson was in fact singing live, with his voice being adjusted in real time.) Watch the complete set below.

Robinson’s moment continued Monday (April 26) with the announcement that the second edition of his IRL festival, Second Sky, is taking place in the Bay Area this fall. Produced by Goldenvoice, the show will happen at Berkeley’s Cesar E. Chavez Park on September 18-19, with Robinson as the headliner and additional artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

While the event has not yet addressed COVID protocols, a press release notes that Second Sky 2021 moved to a larger venue after the debut 2019 event sold out quickly. Second Sky debuted in June 2019, with a lineup featuring Robinson, Anamanaguchi, Cashmere Cat, Nina Las Vegas, Madeon and others.

Robinson has been working on the live show for Nurture for the better part of the year, telling Billboard that while he initially intended to make the show a bit melancholic to match the tone of the album, “as I started putting the show together, perhaps purely as a consequence of having been in quarantine and seeing no live shows for the previous year, I kept cranking up the fun. I couldn’t stop. I made everything into a more fun version of itself.”
