The Public Enemy rapper announced Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend (Sports Hospitality & Entertainment) on Thursday (April 30), which is set for July 16-19 in Sin City.

“Introducing: Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend. Sports. Hospitality. Entertainment. July 16–19. Las Vegas. It started with a tweet. Now its a movement,” he wrote to X. “We’re focused on real impact. For women’s sports. For women athletes. For what comes next.”

It all started back in February when Flav wanted to organize an event to celebrate the U.S. women’s hockey team winning the gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

“Many of y’all asked how you can support and donate to our female athletes and the celebrations, so I created a GoFundMe,” he wrote to X at the time. “I’m hopeful this can have an impact beyond the weekend and help those that represent the best of the U.S.”

As of press time, the GoFundMe has now raised over $133,000. Flav has also partnered with MGM Resorts to put the weekend celebration together, which has expanded to all women’s sports, medalists and athletes who competed in the Summer and Winter Olympics.

The weekend will be filled with celebratory events, giving the Olympians their flowers and providing opportunities for the athletes to meet potential sponsors. There will also be several meet-and-greets for fans to mingle with the Olympians, according to FOX 5.

It’s going to be a busy weekend on the Strip, with the NBA Summer League running the same weekend in Las Vegas.

Flavor Flav has continued to champion women’s athletics, as Flav served as the official hype man for the U.S. bobsled team at the 2026 Winter Olympics. He’s also a sponsor for the men’s and women’s U.S. water polo teams, which saw him assist in raising funds for the women’s team to make the trip to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
