Skrillex will debut a new creative platform, Contra, later in May in Berlin.

While the ongoing project will take various forms in the future, Contra’s first iteration will be a two-day event happening at Berlin Kraftwerk on May 30-31. The lineup includes a fleet of more than 70 electronic and experimental artists including Skrillex himself, along with a crew of collaborators and fellow artists including Ahadadream, Bladee, Blawan, Nai Barghouti featuring Thys & Péter Somos, BNYX, Ecco2k and Tohji x Mechatok.

While he’s not on the lineup poster, frequent Skrillex collaborator Boys Noize also insinuated that he may make an appearance, commenting on the event’s Instagram page “I wonder who ??? is.”

Located in its namesake German city, Kraftwerk Berlin is an exhibition and cultural event space located in a former power station. A press release about Contra advises that its environmental design will be spearheaded by Paris-based studio Matiere Noire, “whose spatial intervention will reshape the monumental scale of Kraftwerk into intimate atmospheres, while dissolving distinctions between light and sound.” Matiere Noire has previously worked on scenography for brands including Courrèges, MM6, Cartier and Chanel.

Those checking their watches will notice that the newly announced event is happening in 10 days. Tickets are available now.

Elsewhere on his tour schedule, Skrillex has upcoming performances at festivals including Bonnaroo, Dekmantel, Boomtown, Sziget, Austin City Limits and Head Trip, the new Goldenvoice concept happening on the Coachella ground in October. This bill also includes Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia Peggy Gou and Four Tet, Dom Dolla, Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, Ben Sterling and more.
