Arcángel continues to celebrate his two-decade trajectory by announcing the U.S. leg of his La 8va Maravilla 20 Aniversario tour on Tuesday (May 26).
Promoted by Live Nation, the Puerto Rican artist will kick off the 17-date trek on Oct. 9 in Orlando’s Kia Center, and will wrap Dec. 11 at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico. Throughout the months of October and November, the “Hace Mucho Tiempo” singer will make pit stops in key cities including Miami, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Houston and San Jose.
According to an official statement, the “tour promises a powerful production, unforgettable performances and a setlist spanning the classics that helped define a movement alongside the global anthems that continue to shape today’s urbano landscape.”
Arcángel’s world tour that kicked off in May with two dates in Spain will continue from July to September with dates across Latin America, including Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.
The tour is in support of his latest studio album, La 8va Maravilla, an experimental set that navigates merengue, Afro house, banda, Jersey club, pop and his signature R&B and reggaetón sound, and has collaborations with Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee, Grupo Firme and more.
“I didn’t tour with my last album,” Arcángel previously noted in his Billboard Español digital cover story. “This one’s going to be really extensive because I plan to include all the material from my career, and you’ll see the different stages … the Arcángel from 2005, 2009, 2019. Thank God I have songs to sing for five to six hours or even more.”
General tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on May 28 via his official website. See the complete dates below:
