Cam Anthony had his game face on when he faced off against Connor Christian on Monday night’s (April 26) Knockouts round of The Voice.

Christian opened with a decent performance of 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Youngblood.” Then Anthony stepped on up for a brutal knockdown with a rendition of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good.”

The Team Blake sensation had Kelly Clarkson out of her seat at one point, and yelling “oh my god” as the performance wrapped.

“You should be proud,” Nick Jonas later told Christian. Anthony’s performance, however, was “flawless, creative and kinda…otherworldly.”

Legend is a fan of Anthony and his talents. “I really believe in you, I think that you have the ability to be a true artist, beyond this show,” he enthused.

Blake Shelton praised Anthony. “You have a gift, and I’m very happy for you.” There was no surprise who won this bout. Anthony, the 19-year-old Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles-based hopefully got the win and moves forward in the show.
