Britney Spears is looking fit and feeling free, if a new video is anything to go by.
The pop superstar appears super-healthy as she works through a new routine to Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” in a fresh clip posted to Instagram.
“May the Lord wrap your mean ass up in joy today,” she writes. It’s the second part of her “Bad Guy” dance, the first of which she shared back in mid-2019. “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it,” she quips.
Britney is coming off an eventual few weeks, during which a judge ruled that she can hire her own lawyer in her pursuit of ending the conservatorship that has controlled her life and career for the past 13 years.
To celebrate, Spears has been active on social media, posting dance videos and taking the time to speak her mind about the actions of her “so-called support system”.
“For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos … look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think !!!! I’ve done that for the past 13 years,” she wrote Saturday night, just before calling out her dad and sister Jamie Lynn Spears in the same note.

Britney Spears might not have plans to return to the stage any time soon, but she seems to still be singing.
The pop star’s boyfriend, Sam Asghari, shared a now-deleted Instagram Story from the car Sunday afternoon (July 18) that featured a very familiar voice.
For the drive, Spears’ song “Lonely” — from her 2001 Britney album — played on the radio. Although no faces were visible in the video, a voice that appeared to be Spears herself singing along with the track could be heard.
The voice sang the emotional bridge of “Lonely”: “Think of times you made me cry/ You had me so confused/ I’m tired of trying, I’ll leave behind this/ What’s a girl to do?”
Spears was active on social media over the weekend, taking the time to speak her mind about the actions of her “so-called support system” throughout her ongoing conservatorship battle.
“My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!” Spears said. “This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill … yet people still try !!!!”

“Wild Side” has FKA Twigs ready to show off her pole dancing skills.
The singer filmed a routine in which she pole danced to Normani and Cardi B’s sensual new slow jam, sharing the clip on TikTok over the weekend.
“show me your wild side @normani @iamcardib #poledance,” FKA Twigs captioned the short video.
On Sunday (July 18), Cardi retweeted a clip of the dance on Twitter, just a short while after saying she would have delivered some moves of her own in the “Wild Side” music video if she wasn’t expecting.
“If I wasn’t pregnant I would of done a lit ass pole video to wildside ….but I am so imma just have to do a video rolling on the floor like peppa pig,” the rapper joked in a tweet.

Kid Cudi is addressing negativity that surfaced on social media over his painted nails this weekend.
Cudi shared a “Mando Cud” selfie on Instagram that showed off a Mandalorian-inspired helmet, plus an orange-and-blue manicure, Saturday night (July 17) — but he ended up deactivating the comments section on the post.
“Turned my comments off on instagram. Seems people really have a problem w me painting my nails,” the rapper later wrote on Twitter. “I got tired of blockin so many accounts.”
“I really need u to understand, if u dont like me doin this or anything I do, please dont buy my albums, dont come to my shows. F— way off,” Cudi said.
“Thanx,” he added in his next tweet, where he posted several emojis. In the comments on Twitter, many fans showed support and chimed in to share photos of their own painted nails.
In April, Cudi made a memorable fashion choice as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live when he rocked a floral-print dress similar to those worn by Kurt Cobain in the ’90s. The day after his SNL performance, Cudi explained that he was paying tribute to the late Nirvana frontman, noting that his dress was designed by Off-White founder and Louis Vuitton artistic director Virgil Abloh.
“I told him I wanted to show love to Kurt w a floral print sundress and this man made a masterpiece,” he wrote at the time.

Another victim was identified in the collapse of a 12-story Florida condominium that killed at least 97 people, authorities said Saturday (July 17).
The Miami-Dade Police Department said in a news release that Theresa Velasquez, 36, was a confirmed fatality in the June 24 collapse of the Champlain Towers South condo. Her body was recovered July 8.
She becomes the 95th fatality identified in the collapse, police said.
Velasquez was a Los Angeles-based executive for the Live Nation event promotion company. She had flown into Miami to visit her parents at the Surfside condo, both of whom also died in the collapse.
“Theresa was an impassioned leader at Live Nation, who elevated every project she was part of, at the same time breaking down barriers for women, and the LGBTQIA+ community,” the company said in a statement. “We will always remember and honor the impact she made, and will miss her dearly.”
The bodies of Julio and Angela Velasquez were recovered and identified earlier.
The recovery effort at the condo site is slowly winding down, with perhaps one more body still buried in the rubble. Work is now shifting toward determining what caused the oceanfront condo to come down.
A judge is also considering what should be done with the building site. An outright property sale, government purchase for construction of a memorial or a combination of both are among the suggestions.
