Madonna was thankful for the kindness of her loved ones when she was hospitalized and recovering from a bacterial infection last month.

The 64-year-old pop icon’s infection was “serious,” according to manager Guy Oseary, and landed her in the ICU for a few days.

“Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect,” Madonna wrote to fans on Sunday (July 30). She posted the update on her official social media accounts.

“As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving,” said Madonna. “But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference.”

She added, “So did the love and support from my friends.”

In her letter, Madonna described an incredible gift she received from manager Oseary while she was recuperating: “A Polaroid taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson’s face painted on it. A perfect triangle of Brilliance.”

“I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how fortunate I am to have known these people and so many others who are also gone. Thank you @guyoseary for this gift! And Thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me Stay to finish doing my work!” she wrote.

Terence Crawford had the ultimate hype man for his welterweight title fight against Errol Spence Jr. in Las Vegas on Saturday (July 29).

“Las Vegas, make some noise for the next undisputed welterweight champion of the world, Terence ‘Bud’ f—ing Crawford,” Eminem yelled to the roaring crowd.

As Em predicted, Crawford — who entered the fight with an undefeated 39-0 record — won the bout in the ninth round via technical knockout.

In the days leading up to the fight, Crawford posted a video on Instagram asking who should should accompany him to the ring on Saturday, adding that it would be “dope to have Eminem walk me out.” Eminem responded in the comments, “This is 2 crazy.!!! You r 1 of my favorite boxers rn!”

After his victory, the boxing champ told Showtime how he nabbed Slim Shady as his hype man, noting that he simply sent the hip-hop star a DM.

“I throw a rock in a haystack and he replied, I told him to pull up, and he said, ‘I’m there. You’re one of my favorite fighters,’” Crawford said, according to Rolling Stone. “That showed a lot of support for me, and that showed what level I’m at in the boxing world.”

This marks the second time in recent weeks that Em has made a surprise appearance during a large-scale event. On July 15, he joined Ed Sheeran for two songs during the British singer-songwriter’s concert at Ford Field in the rapper’s hometown of Detroit.

Haim had some tricks up their sleeves for their second weekend on Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour. Este, Danielle and Alana arrived on stage wearing dresses like their “Bejeweled” video gowns when they joined Swift on “No Body, No Crime” in Santa Clara, California, on Friday (July 28).

“hi from the step sisters!” the real-life sisters wrote Saturday (July 29) on Instagram. They shared a series of photos and a backstage video from the night before at Levi’s Stadium that featured a look at their “Bejeweled”-inspired dresses. The trio guest-starred in Swift’s self-directed music video that was released in October.

“we literally filmed this on our way to stage,” Haim added in a caption on TikTok about Friday night’s hijinks.

“No Body, No Crime” has been a new Evermore-era song on the setlist since Haim joined the tour as an opening act. Swift and Haim debuted it live together on July 22 in Seattle. Their collab replaced “‘Tis the Damn Season” on the setlist.

Selena Gomez must be having an incredible summer, based on new photos and video clips of the singer/actress out at sea, looking completely radiant and carefree in a pink swimsuit.

Gomez, pictured in a pretty bikini and denim overalls — and wearing no, or very minimal, makeup — gave fans a glimpse at her day having fun in the sun on Saturday (July 29).

In one video, she gazes at the camera and holds her hair back in the wind. In pictures, she poses with friends and for the shot, with the ocean and a blue sky as her backdrop.
