A Taylor Swift fan skipped work to see the pop star in Cincinnati this weekend, hoping no one would recognize her when she was supposed to be home “sick.” Inspired by “Anti-Hero,” the fan hid her identity by dressing up as one of the music video’s ghosts.
With a bedsheet draped over her head and sunglasses to top off the sneaky look, the fan boldly got in front of the camera for an interview with Cincinnati news station Local 12/WKRC-TV ahead of Saturday night’s (July 1) show at Paycor Stadium.
“I almost named my daughter’s middle name Taylor,” said the fan in disguise while in line for merch. She drove in from Louisville and told the news reporter that she was there to snag the grey quarter-zip sweatshirt.
The stealth Swiftie — who also attended The Eras Tour in Nashville — said she was taking a young fan, age 11, to her first Swift show this time, and planned to trade plenty of friendship bracelets at the venue.
The “Anti-Hero” ghosts are a visual representation of the first verse of Swift’s Midnights single: “I have this thing where I get older but just never wiser,” she sings. “Midnights become my afternoons. When my depression works the graveyard shift, all of the people I’ve ghosted stand there in the room.” See their cameo in the music video here.
Swift’s Eras tour is in Cincinnati this weekend before heading to Kansas City the following weekend. She recently announced international tour dates, and then added even more shows to the route just a few days ago.
Check out the fan’s disguise in the interview clip below. Hopefully her boss doesn’t recognize her voice.
Attention, Taylor Swift fans: Swift will be taking the stage one hour earlier than planned tonight (Saturday, July 1) at Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium.
“Hey Cincinnati – Alas we’ve got another weather situation but this just means I get to see you sooner! I’ll be going on an hour early at 7pm – we’ll open doors at 4:30,” Swift wrote in an update to fans on social media around 4 p.m. ET, just a half hour before doors would open at the venue.
“See you then!” she added in the tweet.
Swift and her tour crew seem to be taking precaution to get ahead of thunderstorms on the local forecast for tonight. Paycor Stadium is an open-air venue, and while Swift is happy to sing through a full-on rainstorm, events generally see delays if there is lightning in the area.
She usually takes the stage closer to 8 p.m. on The Eras Tour.

This weekend is Pride in London, and Ariana Grande is marking the celebration with Kylie Minogue‘s latest single.
“HAPPY LONDON PRIDE,” she wrote on Saturday (July 1) in an Instagram Story showing herself lip syncing to Minogue’s “Padam Padam” in front of the camera. “I LOVE YOUUUUUU.”
“you’re perfect,” Grande — who just had her 30th birthday and is set to star as Glinda the Good Witch in the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway hit Wicked — wrote to Minogue on the clip.
Grande is in good company: Vice President Kamala Harris was spotted getting down to Minogue‘s summer anthem just a few days ago. “I like it. I like it,” she declared while bopping her head to the song’s beat when she celebrated her visit to the Stonewall Inn in New York City earlier this week, in support of the LGBTQ community.
“Padam Padam” is the lead single from Minogue’s highly-anticipated sixteenth album, Tension, which will be out on Sept. 22. She made the Tension announcement in May, noting that she “would say it’s a blend of personal reflection, club abandon and melancholic high.”
Minogue recently achieved her first top 10 placement on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart with “Padam Padam.”

SiriusXM added $2.7 billion of market capitalization this week as its share price gained 18.3% to $4.53 — the stock’s highest closing price since Feb. 17 and 36.4% above its low point in 2023 of $3.32 reached on April 27.
The satellite radio broadcaster got a boost on Tuesday (June 27) when it announced it was scrapping its standalone podcast app, Stitcher, to concentrate on producing podcast content, selling advertisements and leveraging the content to attract SiriusXM subscribers. This evidence that the company is reorganizing and re-thinking how it operates in the fast-growing podcast market appeared to leave an impression on investors, with shares of SiriusXM rising as much as 10.5% on Tuesday.
SiriusXM had the second-best performance of the week on the Billboard Global Music Index, a 21-stock index covering record labels, publishers, satellite and radio broadcasters, and live music and ticketing. The Index improved 2.5% to 1,320.23 this week, as 12 of the 21 stocks finished the week in positive territory. Relative to other indexes, it outperformed the S&P 500 (+2.3%), the Nasdaq composite (+2.2%), the FTSE 100 (+0.9%) and South Korea’s Kospi index (-0.2%).
Two other radio companies, Cumulus Media and iHeartMedia, were among the leading music stocks this week. Shares of Cumulus Media improved 20.6% to $4.10 just one week after gaining 9.7% and leading the Billboard Global Music Index, while iHeartMedia’s stock gained 8% to $3.64. But despite those improvements, both stocks have fallen precipitously in 2023 amidst a soft advertising market. Through June 30, Cumulus Media and iHeartMedia are down 34% and 40.6%, respectively, year to date.
Another standout performer this week was Universal Music Group, the world’s largest record label and music publisher, with shares gaining 5.5% to 20.35 euros ($22.23). The company will release second-quarter earnings on July 26.
Halfway through 2023, the Billboard Global Music Index is up 13%. The index’s growth has come from large gains by some of the most valuable companies on the index: Spotify (+103.4%), HYBE (+62.2%) and Live Nation (+30.6%). The largest gain on a percentage basis, meanwhile, came from the smaller LiveOne (+173.3%).

The season finale of Silo, Apple TV’s sleeper hit starring Rebecca Ferguson, Common, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones and Tim Robbins, drops Friday (June 30).
On the show, the last 10,000 people on earth live in a giant silo located a mile underground to protect them from the “toxic and deadly world outside.” No one knows how or when the silo was built and what awaits them outside, but they’re not allowed to question how they got there or attempt to break free — without consequence.
Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who stumbles upon secrets about the silo while searching for answers surrounding the death of a family member.
Silo was adapted from Hugh Howey’s bestselling novels, Wool, Shift and Dusty. The dystopian series was created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, who serves as showrunner and executive producer.
Howey, Ferguson and Morten Tyldum are executive producers as well, along with Nina Jack, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon and Ingrid Escajeda. Tyldum directed the show’s first three episodes.

Will There Be a Silo Season 2?
Is Silo returning for season 2? After gaining a cult following since its premiere on May 5, the series has officially been renewed for a second season, Apple announced on June 14.
“It has been enormously fulfilling to see the engrossing, atmospheric and beautifully crafted sci-fi epic Silo quickly become Apple’s number one drama series,” said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. “As audiences around the world have become gripped by the mysteries and conspiracies buried within this fascinating subterranean world, viewership only continues to climb, and we are so excited for more secrets of the silo to be revealed in season 2.”
“We cannot wait for audiences around the world to immerse themselves in the epic world we have created to bring Hugh Howey’s novels to life,” added Yost. “Apple has believed in our vision from day one and it’s an honor to have the opportunity to dig deeper into this story and peel back the layers to our characters in the silo.”
Though it’s unclear when season 2 will premiere and how the writer’s strike and a potential SAG-AFTRA strike could impact scheduling, the show recently started shooting its second season, Ferguson revealed in an interview with Collider.
