Calvin Harris and Kasabian’s “Release the Pressure” spends a second week at No. 1 on the WARM Global Dance Radio chart.

The track, released Feb. 6, leads the ranking dated March 21 with more than 800 spins across more than 200 monitored stations worldwide in the March 6-12 tracking week, according to WARM (World Airplay Radio Monitor).

Just below “Pressure,” FISHER’s “Rain” holds at its No. 2 high and Vintage Culture and gabss’ “Lost” jumps two spots to No. 3, a new best.

Rounding out the top five of the chart, HUGEL and SOLTO’s “Jamaican (Bam Bam)” rises 6-4, likewise a new high, and Mau P’s “Neck” drops 4-5.

For the second straight week, David Guetta has the most songs on the full 100-position WARM Global Dance Radio chart, with five tracks to his name: “Upside Down (Extended Mix),” with Jaden Bojsen (No. 12); “Crazy,” with Matt Sassari, Jack Back and Amira Eldine (No. 29); “Save Me Tonight,” with Jennifer Lopez (No. 52 debut); “Gone Gone Gone,” with Teddy Swims and Tones and I (No. 61); and “Prayer,” with Kiko and Olivier Giacomotto (No. 93 debut).

John Summit, MK, Tiësto, James Hype and CHRYSTAL follow with three charting songs apiece.

As announced March 5, Billboard has expanded its dance chart portfolio with the inclusion of the WARM Global Dance Radio chart. The ranking debuted on Billboard.com on March 10, joining Billboard’s long-standing U.S.-based dance lists, including Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Hot Dance/Pop Songs, Dance/Mix Show Airplay and Top Dance Albums.

The 40-position WARM Global Dance Radio chart (published in full as a 100-position ranking on WARM’s platform) aggregates plays from 200-plus dance-dedicated radio stations worldwide, reflecting which songs are trending globally through a network of programmers and radio gatekeepers operating across multiple territories. WARM monitors more than 23,000 radio stations across all genres and formats in 150 countries worldwide.

After returning home from the Winter Olympics in Milan, Snoop Dogg will bring the sizzle to the Las Vegas Strip, where he’ll perform at the grand opening of the Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on May 16.

Brought to life by Clique Hospitality, every day is gameday at the Tailgate Beach Club. The sports-centric dayclub brings Sin City’s premium hospitality experience tailored to the diehard fan.

“Vegas knows how to throw a party, and Tailgate Beach Club sounds like it’s bringing a whole new vibe to the Strip,” Snoop relays to Billboard. “I’m excited to come out, rock with the crowd and help get things started.”

The state-of-the-art venue includes three heated pools and 125 feet of LED screens for 360-degree big game viewing, surrounded by upscale bungalows and cabanas to keep cool in the desert.

“We couldn’t think of a better person to help us open the doors than Snoop Dogg. He’s a true lover of sports and embodies the kind of laid-back, high-energy vibe Tailgate Beach Club is bringing to the Las Vegas Strip” said Andy Masi, founder of Clique Hospitality, in a statement. “Snoop knows how to bring people together to have fun, celebrate and enjoy the moment, and that is exactly the tone we want to set from day one.”

The Tailgate Beach Club will be open from Thursday at 11 a.m. PT to Sunday, and won’t close until the final buzzer sounds, while extended hours will be accommodated for primetime matchups. There will be plenty of entertainment options for frequenters, who will be able to play PlayStation, beer pong, foosball and ping pong games.

“Tailgate Beach Club is an exciting addition to Mandalay Bay and another way we continue to evolve our guests’ resort experience,” said Ben Kott, Mandalay Bay’s SVP and general manager. “This concept blends the excitement of live sporting events with the atmosphere of a Las Vegas dayclub, delivering a unique way for fans to gather, celebrate and experience the energy of The Strip.”

Snoop has lived at the intersection of sports, music and entertainment in pop culture, so it’s only fitting he brings his array of West Coast anthems to the Tailgate Beach Club stage — which sits steps away from Allegiant Stadium — on May 16 for a summer kickoff in the midst of the NBA and NHL Playoffs.

At this point, award-show viewers are pretty used to seeing people’s acceptance speeches get cut for time. But at the Oscars on Sunday (March 15), the songwriters behind KPop Demon Hunters hit “Golden” were interrupted so abruptly during their historic win, the ceremony was widely criticized for making the production call, which Walt Disney Television executive vp Rob Mills has now addressed.

In an interview with Variety published one day after Hollywood’s biggest night, Mills — one of the producers for the Oscars — said that the harsh cutoff during the best original song presentation has inspired his team to rethink their approach for next year. “One thing, as we post mortem for next year, will be to look at how we’re handling speeches,” he began.

“You win the Oscar, you know you go on stage, it could be one person, it could be five or six,” Mills continued. “Immediately you’ll see the sort of allotted time we have for them. Do we need to look at it and say, ‘OK, designate one person to speak.’ Maybe you continue it backstage, and we have a feed on social or something like that. We look at everything and figure out what is the most elegant solution, because it is difficult, especially when you’re cutting somebody off, and it’s their one moment.”

He added, “I don’t know what the most elegant solution is, but it’s obviously something we should look really, really long and hard at.”

At Sunday’s ceremony, “Golden” beat out nominated songs from Sinners, Viva Verdi!, Train Dreams and Diane Warren: Relentless. After the Billboard Hot 100-topping smash’s writers accepted their trophy, only EJAE — who also provided the singing vocals for KPop Demon Hunters character Rumi — got the chance to deliver her remarks in full.

“Thank you so much to the academy for this insane award,” she said. “Growing up, people made fun of me for liking K-pop, but now everyone’s singing our song and all the Korean lyrics. I’m so proud. And I realized, the song, this award is not about success. It’s about resilience.”

Then, when cowriter Yu-Han Lee stepped up to say his thanks, he got through a few words before the Oscars’ live orchestra started playing over him. EJAE and the other songwriters were visibly upset and appeared to try to wave at the production team to stop, but they were ushered backstage, where they did eventually get to finish their speeches.

Nevertheless, KPop Demon Hunters‘ win marks a historic moment all around. “Golden” is now the first K-pop song to win an Oscar, adding to the long list of accolades the smash Netflix film has notched since its premiere last summer.

Another historic award the film will soon take home is Billboard‘s Woman of the Year, which, for the first time ever, will be presented as Women of the Year. EJAE and her fellow HUNTR/X vocalists, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI, will share the coveted prize following the Billboard Women in Music Awards in April.

Kid Rock loves to dunk on his haters, but the bullgod didn’t seem to like being the butt of a joke at the Academy Awards. The rapper-turned-rocker-turned-MAGA-country crooner didn’t take kindly to Oscars host Conan O’Brien taking a mild swing at him during Sunday night’s (March 15) awards show, when the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend star tweaked Rock during his monologue.

“I should warn you, tonight could get political,” O’Brien said at the top of the show during a monologue that took some pointed shots at Timothée Chalamet’s ballet/opera gaffe controversy, as well as tweaking Netflix boss Ted Sarandos and absent best supporting actor winner Sean Penn.

“And if that makes you uncomfortable, there’s an alternate Oscars being hosted by Kid Rock,” O’Brien added. “It’s at the Dave & Buster’s down the street.”

The “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” singer didn’t like that jab one bit. In a response on X, Rock (Born Robert James Ritchie), 55, wrote, “I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one.”

Rock was reacting to the dig that took a playful swing at last month’s Turning Point “All-American Halftime Show,” which featured Rock playing two songs in front of what appeared to be a sparse audience in a pretaped livestream meant to counterprogram Bad Bunny’s record-setting official halftime show that featured guests Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.

Rock also took aim at the time what he called the “fake news media” for suggesting he was lip-syncing during the set that included a glitchy “Bawitaba,” in which his rapping didn’t seem to lineup with the audio feed, blaming it on an alleged editor’s error in post-production.

While Rock promoted his livestream as an the event for people who “love football, love America, love good music and love Jesus,” the tune-in for his alternative has racked up 21 million views on YouTube to date, versus the YT tune-ins to date for Benito’s set, which has more than 125 million views. According to co-producer Roc Nation, the uplifting performance by the one of the world’s most popular performers is the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time with a global viewership record of 4.157 billion worldwide views in the first 24 hours across global and U.S. broadcasts, as well as YouTube and other digital properties.

Rock ended his response with a plug for his upcoming Freedom 250 Tour — The Road to Nashville, which is slated to kick off on May 1 at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas with a lineup that also includes Brantley Gilbert and Them Dirty Roses.

Jay-Z and The Roots are set to headline the Roots Picnic 2026. Slated for May 30 and May 31, the festival has moved venues in Philadelphia to the Belmont Plateau.

Related

Pre-sale tickets are currently on sale with the promo code “ROOTS26” at the Roots Picnic website, while the general public will have another chance on Wednesday (March 18) at 10 a.m. local time. Fans should stay tuned for plenty of additions to the festival lineup in the coming weeks.

“Moving the Roots Picnic to Belmont Plateau and bringing JAŸ-Z and The Roots together to perform are both bucket-list moments for us,” said Shawn Gee, The Roots’ manager and president of Live Nation Urban, in a statement. “After meeting with Mayor Cherelle Parker and hearing her vision for Philadelphia 250, she truly inspired us to dream even bigger, and we’re grateful to her, Commissioner Susan Slawson, Jazelle Jones and everyone who helped make it happen. We can’t wait to see everyone in May at the Plat.”

The Roots Picnic will serve as Jay-Z’s first performance since joining Beyoncé on stage in Paris at the final overseas show of the Cowboy Carter Tour in June. It’s also his first time sharing the stage with The Roots in more than a decade.

The Brooklyn rap deity’s last festival appearance came as a surprise when he hit the stage at Pharrell’s Something in the Water Festival in Virginia in 2019.

Fans have been speculating about a Hov comeback for this summer, with 2026 serving as the 30th anniversary of his Reasonable Doubt debut and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint.

He’s left a few hints, too, as he added the umlaut back to his name, JAŸ-Z, which he carried during the Reasonable Doubt era. Jay’s also launched a new website, released a handful of classic songs on vinyl and dropped the OG “Dead Presidents” on streaming services earlier this year. Hov’s last solo album arrived with 4:44 in 2017, which topped the Billboard 200.

Bruno Mars has signed a global music publishing administration partnership with Avex Music Group.

The new deal will begin once Mars completes his current contract with BMG/Warner Chappell this summer.

“Bruno Mars is one of the most culturally impactful songwriters of his generation,” Katsumi Kuroiwa, CEO of Avex Inc., said in a statement. “We are honored to partner with him and support his future works.”

Brandon Silverstein, CEO of Avex Music Group, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Bruno to Avex and look forward to supporting his incredible songs.”

In February, Mars released his fourth album, The Romantic, which marked his first solo album since 2016. The record debuted atop the Billboard 200, while lead single “I Just Might” rebounded to No. 1 on the Hot 100 in the same tracking week — the single, released Jan. 9, became Mars’ first to debut atop the chart.

Similarly, The Romantic became his first album to debut atop the Billboard 200; Mars’ second album, Unorthodox Jukebox, is his only other project that reached the summit, climbing to No. 1 nearly three months after it arrived.

Related

The Romantic arrived on the heels of two mega-hits for Mars: “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT.” with Rosé.

While speaking with Billboard in December for a cover conversation with Rosé, Mars teased that the pair have another song they worked on together. “I won’t say the title… We’re just trying to figure out when, or how,” he teased at the time. Considering it didn’t make The Romantic, fans are left waiting a while longer.

In the same conversation, Mars reflected on the key to longevity in the music business. “We’re in the songwriting business and it’s not easy,” he said. “It’s not easy to write a song that’s got the thing. But you can’t forget that it’s not going to happen everyday — you just got to be an antenna and be ready when it does. And that’s it. There’s no shortcut… And good luck, because it’s almost impossible. That’s the hardest thing to do in our line of work: to be able to hit some kind of frequency that means something to people.”

When BTS dropped the ARIRANG tracklist on March 4, most eyes went straight to the star-studded producer credits that include Diplo, Ryan Tedder, Kevin Parker and Mike WiLL Made-It. But tucked in the credits was a name that tells a different story: El Guincho, the Spanish producer who helped Rosalía turn flamenco into global pop currency.

Pablo Díaz-Reixa — better known as El Guincho — made his mark coproducing Rosalía’s 2018 album El Mal Querer, layering electronic percussion and minimalist synths over flamenco structures to create something that sounded rooted in tradition yet unmistakably modern. He’s since lent his ear to Björk, Charli xcx and BLACKPINK’s JENNIE on “Mantra.” His presence on an album named after Korea’s most beloved folk tradition is a pairing worth paying attention to.

BTS has flirted with Latin production before. j-hope and Becky G’s 2019 “Chicken Noodle Soup” blended Korean, English and Spanish over a Latin hip-hop bounce, proving the group could navigate multiple cultural touchpoints without losing its center. ARIRANG appears ready to push that experiment further.

The Latin American fanbase has already spoken volumes. Three Mexico City shows at Estadio GNP Seguros moved 150,000 tickets in 37 minutes during general sales, with approximately 1.1 million fans attempting to purchase tickets. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum took the unprecedented step of writing a diplomatic letter to South Korean President Lee Jae-myung requesting additional dates.

That kind of demand doesn’t happen in a vacuum. HYBE has been building infrastructure through HYBE Latin America and Santos Bravos, a Latin boy group that debuted in October 2025 at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional after being formed through a K-pop-style development program. El Guincho’s presence on ARIRANG — on track No. 2, titled “Hooligan,” according to the tracklist’s reveal — reads less like a one-off collaboration and more like a calculated bridge between two massive music markets already sharing touring circuits and creative talent.

What “Hooligan” — produced alongside Fakeguido and Jasper Harris, actually sounds like remains under wraps as of this writing — but one might anticipate intricate percussion, unexpected textures and a willingness to let tradition and experimentation collide.

Top music industry executives Clint Higham, John Esposito and Kris Lamb have formed Hey Now Records, with country superstar Kenny Chesney as the boutique label’s flagship artist.

“When Clint, Espo and Kris came to me with the idea of creating our own team, I was curious,” Chesney said in a statement. “A label like this can be all-in, lets-make-stuff-happen — and I have always been about making things happen. Creating and exploring what’s possible inspires me, and this is a moment where we can realize ideas in a matter of hours.”

Chesney has been with Warner Records Nashville since 2018, following a long stint at Sony Music Nashville. Last year, in addition to being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Chesney became the first solo headliner and first country act at Sphere in Las Vegas, as well as a New York Times best-selling author, thanks to his book Heart Life Music, with author/journalist Holly Gleason.

The Nashville-based Hey Now Records takes its name from the boat memorialized in Chesney’s song “Happy on the Hey Now.” The label will have a focused staff handling promotion, streaming, marketing and A&R, with plans to add more artists to its roster. Details on distribution, further staffing and new music from Chesney are forthcoming.

Co-founder Higham is best known as president and partner at Morris Higham Management, whose clients include Chesney, as well as Old Dominion, Greylan James, Dailey & Vincent and KINSLEY.

Hey Now Records co-founder Esposito served as chairman/CEO of Warner Music Nashville (renamed Warner Records Nashville in 2025) for 13 years, before stepping down at the end of 2022. In addition to Chesney, at the label he worked with such artists as Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge and Ashley McBryde. He has also served as chairman of the Country Music Association, governor of the NARAS Nashville Chapter and on the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau boards.

Lamb joins Higham and Esposito as Hey Now Records co-founder and president. Lamb was most recently executive vp/GM of Big Machine Records, where he spent more than a decade. Prior to Big Machine, he was at the Walt Disney Company’s Lyric Street Records.

“Hey Now Records was born out of conversations Clint, Kenny and I had about the increasing lack of focus that artists are getting as rosters increase while staffs shrink,” Esposito said in a statement. “When Kris joined our conversations, I knew we would be lucky to have him at the helm of our operation. I’m thrilled to be in the role of co-founder, advisor, mentor and cheerleader for Kris as he leads the Hey Now Records operation.”

Higham added, “We have always believed in finding the best people for what an artist needs. That philosophy has seen us super-serve our clients to create more meaningful opportunities and connections. In today’s flooded marketplace, Espo, Kris Lamb and I looked at this moment and saw an opportunity to super-serve a handful of talented developing and established artists by using that same perspective. By being laser-focused on the music, artists and right next moves, we can accelerate the artist development process through targeted and specific execution.”

Lamb, who will oversee day-to-day operations and lead the overall direction for the label, added, “Having the chance to create something from the ground up means the options are wide open. In a world where structure blocks creativity, Hey Now is a place where whatever we can conceive, we can realize. This is more than a dream; this is a gateway to creating an entirely new form and reality of artist development.”
