Venezuelan duo Chino y Nacho reunited at the 18th annual Premios Juventud ceremony on Thursday night (July 22) for an emotional performance following Chyno Miranda’s COVID-19 experience.

The pair took the stage to perform a medley of their hits, kicking off with the 2016 chart-topping track “Andas en Mi Cabeza,” followed by “Me Voy Enamorando” and their anthem “Mi Niña Bonita.”

The highly anticipated reunion between the duo — who in 2017 separated but later reunited in 2020 to release their single “Raro” — marks Miranda’s return to the stage after battling COVID-19 and the aftermath that resulted in serious health complications.

In a video posted Wednesday on Instagram, Miranda detailed what he lived with months after being diagnosed with the coronavirus, which compromised his nervous system and was diagnosed with the disorder peripheral neuropathy.

“I want you to know that his process has been really hard and I am hurt and concerned but I want my fans to know that I’m here to have a conversation with them,” he said. “I want them to know the truth. And for them to know that I’m still working on new music. I love you all.”
