The Fitbit Luxe was first released this past April, as a newly-styled fitness tracker that combines the look of a modern bracelet with the functionality of a smart watch. Now, Amazon has the Fitbit Luxe on sale as part of a Cyber Monday deal. Regularly $149.95, the Fitbit sale brings the price down to just $99.95.

This is the cheapest price we’ve spotted online for this Fitbit and the first time the all-new Fitbit Luxe has been priced under $100.

fitbit luxe deal

Shop: Fitbit Luxe Fitness and Wellness Tracker $99.95

The deal gets you the Fitbit Luxe in your choice of three colors. The slim, jewelry-like band keeps track of your steps, heart rate, breathing rate and other exercise metrics, and can even help you estimate your calorie burn, depending on the workout you’re doing. Going on a run? Pair the Luxe to your phone’s GPS to track your pacing and route.

We also like all the health and wellness features of the Fitbit Luxe, including the ability to track your sleep and give you a “Sleep Score” in the accompanying Fitbit app. You can also track your daily “Stress Management” levels, and use your watch for guided breathing and mindfulness exercises through the Fitbit app.

Program the fitness tracker’s settings and alerts to set goals for yourself, whether you’re going on a run or hitting the gym. You can also send the Fitbit to push a gentle buzz when you reach your target heart rate zones.

A single charge gets you up to five days of battery life. The slim and sleek design, meantime, is a welcome change from all the bulky and chunky smartwatch models on the market.

This is one of the best Fitbit deals online, and the $99 price includes the chic activity tracker, a lithium-ion battery and a six-month free trial to Fitbit Premium, which gets you everything from detailed monitoring metrics to health tips and guided, on-demand workouts.

Regularly $149+, this Amazon deal gets you the Fitbit Luxe for just $99.95. See full details here.

Mark Hoppus has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season.

The Blink-182 singer and bassist, who announced in late September that he was “cancer free” after publicly disclosing his diagnosis in June, took to Instagram on Thursday (Nov. 25) to share an uplifting Thanksgiving message about the current state of his health.

“I have so much to be thankful for today. This photo is from June, halfway through chemo, no idea if it was working or not, relegated to the bathroom floor, retching,” the 49-year-old musician wrote alongside a photo of himself crouching by a toilet.

He continued, “If I ever complain about something trivial or unimportant, please show me this photo to remind me of how bad things can be, and how truly blessed I am. I hope you all have an amazing day with friends and family. Happy Thanksgiving.”

Earlier this summer, Hoppus revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The musician has regularly updated fans on the status of his health during his cancer battle. In June, he said that he was remaining “hopeful and positive” for a cancer-free future while still going through the next several months of treatment. Positive news arrived in late September when Hoppus announced that his oncologist had declared him “cancer free.”

“Thank you God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love,” the artist wrote. “Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed.”

See Hoppus’ heartfelt Thanksgiving post below.

Following the death of Stephen Sondheim, Hollywood stars took to social media to share tributes and memories of the award-winning composer and lyricist who was known for revolutionizing American musical theater.

Sondheim, whose achievements included Company, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park With George and Into the Woods, died at 91.

The composer often collaborated with producer-director Hal Prince, pairing with him on musicals such as West Side Story and Merrily We Roll Along. Sondheim collected nine Tony Awards during his tenure, as well as an Oscar, a Pulitzer Prize and eight Grammy awards.

On Twitter, Uzo Aduba referred to Sondheim as “the best there ever was.” She wrote, “I don’t know when we will ever have another of his caliber, of his breadth and scope. Just the greatest, a legend, a true titan. Rest In Peace.”

“He wrote me a wonderful permission letter to use ‘Old Friends’ in American Gods,” wrote Neil Gaiman. “I avoided meeting him (failed only once) and refused dinner because I didn’t have many heroes. Now I’ve got one less. Thank you Stephen Sondheim so much.”

Hugh Jackman wrote: “Every so often someone comes along that fundamentally shifts an entire art form. Stephen Sondheim was one of those. As millions mourn his passing I also want to express my gratitude for all he has given to me and so many more. Sending my love to his nearest and dearest.”

Anna Kendrick shared that “performing his work has been among the greatest privileges of my career” and called Sondheim’s death “a devastating loss.”

George Takei, meanwhile, labeled Sondheim a “towering giant” and wrote that his legacy of song and lyric was unparalleled. “From West Side Story to Sweeney Todd, from Gypsy to Sunday in the Park with George, there will never be a master like him.”

Darren Criss thanked Sondheim for “something between ridiculous and sublime.”

In a statement emailed to Billboard, ASCAP President Paul Williams said: “The magnitude of Stephen Sondheim’s contribution to American musical theater is immeasurable and matched only by his immense generosity in influencing and mentoring new generations. We are forever grateful for his groundbreaking work, which truly evolved the art form of the Broadway musical, and for his support to The ASCAP Foundation to expand the possibilities for young people to experience the magic of the Broadway musical.”

“Nothing’s Impossible,” a duet between Dionne Warwick and Chance the Rapper, has arrived.

“For those of you asking about the song with @chancetherapper… well, it’s out NOW,” Warwick announced on Twitter on Friday (Nov. 26).

“I gotta tell you, I am so excited,” Warwick said in a video clip she tweeted. “Yes, I am.”

The pair revealed the song was in the works back in January, after connecting on Twitter a month before. Warwick had first initiated contact by poking fun at Chance with some pointed comments that had her trending on Twitter: “Hi, @chancetherapper,” she wrote on Twitter on Dec. 5. “If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this.”

“I am now Dionne the Singer,” she’d decided in the following tweet.

Two charities are being supported by their “Nothing’s Impossible” collaboration: SocialWorks, a Chicago-based nonprofit that Chance founded to empower the youth through the arts, education and civic engagement, and Hunger: Not Impossible, a text-based service connecting kids and their families in need with prepaid, nutritious, to-go meals from local restaurants.

Stock prices around the globe fell on Friday (Nov. 26) after the World Health Organization warned of a new, fast-spreading COVID-19 variant discovered in South Africa.

One of the stocks affected most was Live Nation, which dropped 8.06% on Friday in a shortened day of trading. After rising from $67 a share a year ago to a 52-week high of $127.75 a share in early November, the stock closed at $112.66 Monday, then fell to $103.52 today.

The Dow Industrial Average fell 905 points, or 2.5%, marking its largest one-day percentage drop since October 2020.

The World Health Organization said on Friday that the new variant — called Omicron — “has a large number of mutations, some of which are concerning.” The organization added, “Preliminary evidence suggests an increased risk of reinfection with this variant.”

It is not yer clear how widespread the variant is.
