An Italian photographer has dropped a lawsuit that claimed Drake stole a key motif in the music video for his hit summer single “What Did I Miss?”

Gabriele Galimberti says in a court filing dated Jan. 20 that he’s dismissing his copyright claims against Drake with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be reopened. It was not specified whether a settlement had been paid, and reps for Galimberti and Drake did not immediately return inquiries on the subject on Monday (Jan. 26).

Related

Galimberti sued the rapper (born Aubrey Drake Graham) in November, alleging a scene in the video for “What Did I Miss?”, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July, copied a photo from his 2020 book The Ameriguns. Both Galimberti’s photo and the scene in question show men standing outside houses, surrounded by firearms laid out in parallel around swimming pools.

A photographer with National Geographic, Galimberti is perhaps best known for shooting a notorious 2022 Balenciaga campaign that portrayed children with sexually explicit objects. The campaign drew a huge backlash, with consumers accusing the fashion house and Galimberti of glorifying pedophilia.

Galimberti referenced the Balenciaga controversy in his November lawsuit, alleging that Drake intentionally chose to copy his work because “What Did I Miss?” addressed the aftermath of the rapper’s feud with Kendrick Lamar. This rap battle ended with Lamar calling Drake a “certified pedophile” on the chart-topping diss track “Not Like Us,” leading Drake to sue Universal Music Group (UMG) for defamation.

“Plaintiff was ultimately publicly vindicated in a defamation lawsuit abroad related to the false accusations arising from the Balenciaga advertisement,” wrote Galimberti’s attorney in the lawsuit. “Given Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics…calling defendant Graham a pedophile and defendant Graham’s now dismissed defamation lawsuit, on information and belief, defendant Graham sought to imply that he, like plaintiff, would be publicly exonerated.”

Drake’s defamation lawsuit was dismissed in October, with a federal judge ruling that lyrics in rap battles are hyperbole and not meant to imply facts. Drake is now appealing to revive the case against UMG, which owns both Lamar’s label Interscope Records and his own label, Republic Records.

Republic and UMG were also named as defendants alongside Drake in Galimberti’s lawsuit, which sought financial damages for copyright infringement before it was dropped. A rep for the label did not immediately return a request for comment on Monday.

Cirkut discusses his plethora of Grammy nominations this year, including “APT.” by Rosé & Bruno Mars, Mayhem by Lady Gaga and Producer of the Year. We dive back into the catalog as we get the story of his major hits over the course of his career including “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Unholy” and more.

Tetris Kelly:

It is Grammy season and you’re hanging out with Billboard, Tetris and Cirkut. That’s… I feel like we got a strong name game, right? Tetris and Cirkut kicking it. So tell me-

Cirkut:

We should be a duo.

You know what, I’m gonna get into music producing. How about that? So tell me where did- Cirkut before we even talk about the music, the nominations, I want to know about the name.

As a, you know, young teenager, I started off DJing, you know, I was a DJ I was DJ Cirkut. I kind of gave myself the name. It’s really into, like, hip hop and scratching and vinyl and kind of making beats. And so I kind of just gave myself the name. Really, I don’t have any cool story where, like, someone bestowed the name upon me.

You were just like this works.

Yeah, all the DJs had cool names. And I was like, I need my name, so DJ Cirkut. And then, you know, once I kind of moved out of DJing and more into producing, I just dropped the DJ and kept the Cirkut, and here we are.

Hey, listen, it’s working for you, and you have an incredible year. I mean, let’s talk about these Grammy nominations, Producer of the Year, which mind blowing non-classical, Album of the Year for Mayhem with Lady Gaga, Record of the Year, “Abracadabra” and “APT” with Rosé, Song of the Year, “Abracadabra,” “APT.” and, of course, Best Dance Pop Recording for “Abracadabra.” When they read those, when they all came to you, how do you accept being nominated for five Grammys with those massive songs?

It’s been, you know, a while since the nominations, since the announcement happened, and still to this day, as I’m sitting here, I’m still, like, I don’t even, it’s just I’m so overwhelmed by it. I’m so many different emotions that come to mind. I’m just very, you know, proud, but I’m just, I’m thankful, I’m grateful. I’m like, you know, I think it’s incredible. I get to make music for a living. I get to be in these rooms with these incredible artists and songwriters, and that I’m, you know, that people even want to work with me, you know, like, I just feel so grateful and to have my work recognized. And, you know, it’s a celebration of music and of the work we put into these things. So it feels amazing.

Keep watching for more!

If you didn’t know, G-Dragon is considered an icon in the vast world of K-Pop.

The rapper, singer, songwriter and entrepreneur has made a massive name for himself, first in the hit YG Entertainment boy group BIGBANG, and now solo in various spaces from fashion to music. From touring the globe in 2025 with his Übermensch World Tour in support of his album of the same name, which amassed 825,000 fans across 39 shows, making it the largest tour conducted by a Korean solo act in history, to sitting front row at fashion week, G-Dragon is a certified star.

As of recently, the K-Pop act has lent his star power to phone tech brand CASETiFY, celebrating 15 years of operation with the release of his collaborative Chromatic collection. The multi-piece collection dropped today, Jan. 26, and features a range of stylish and protective phone cases, along with phone accessories like MagSafe wallets, sticky grips and fashionable charms that we can easily see G-Dragon clipping onto his phone. According to CASETiFY, the collection centers around the idea of “artistic duality,” expressed through two drops, Chromatic: Forms and Chromatic: Hues. Pricing on the collaboration ranges from $10 to $85. K-Pop fans can grab the G-Dragon-approved collection now on CASETiFY’s website.

Below, ShopBillboard will be taking you through some of our favorites from the collaboration. We’ll be talking price points, how to use your CASETiFY tech and everything in between.

What to buy from CASETIFY x G-Dragon's new collaboration.

G-Dragon x CASETiFY Alloy Ripple Case

The brand’s cases are known for their strong drop protection, with different lines offering different levels of protection. Many of their cases are “military-grade” , a standard met by surviving multiple 4-foot drops.

You’ve also got the Chromatic Hues case for $56, which also features that same rippled effect, but in a rubber case. This version comes in five colorways, including Mint Blue and Shock Pink, which are some of our favorites. You’ll be offered the same drop-proof tech, but in more colorful packaging.

While the cases on their own are pretty stellar, we like the accompanying sets the best, giving you the most bang for your buck. Take the G-Dragon x CASETiFY Chromatic Hues Set, for example. Retailing for $94, this set comes with a Chromatic Hues case along with an easy to use MagSafe wallet that magnetizes to the back of your Casetify case, keeping it in place. The product is just as compact and just as sleek as the aforementioned wallet, meaning it won’t hinder your phone usage.

The Chromatic launch also includes a slew of charms that can be attached to your CASETiFY phone case with a charm hook, also found on the brand’s website. Our favorites are the Dripped Cherry for $32 and the Heart Lock for $18. Both charms feature loops that attach to your charm hook and grungy accompanying charms, from heart-shaped locks to a juicy cherry dripping in silver. Think of these charms like a bag charm, but for your phone. They add a little whimsy to any MagSafe phone case.

What to buy from CASETIFY x G-Dragon's new collaboration.

G-Dragon x CASETiFY Charm Keychain – Dripped Cherry

This is another collaborative phone keychain, this time in the shape of a cherry dipped in chocolate. Like the other charms in this collection, this cherry attaches to your CASETiFY phone case with a charm hook available on the brand’s website.

BTS are back and ready to tear up the music scene once again. This time, however, they’re coming to a city near you.

The boy group’s 2026 album, titled Arirang, is dropping on March 20. In support of said album, the boy band is finally going on tour, aptly titled ARIRANG tour. The hype is so real that, according to HYBE, BTS’ parent company, the North American and European legs of the world tour have already sold out within a few hours, reflecting ARMY’s hardcore devotion.

Think of it this way. This is the first album BTS has released since they all took time off to fulfill the mandatory military service South Korea imposes on men in the country — a service that takes up to 18 to 21 months. Additionally, the last time the group went on tour in America was during their Permission to Dance on Stage residency, which wrapped up in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 16, 2022. It’s safe to say that the lengthy hiatus and lack of music have left fans craving more of the BTS boys.

The North American leg of the ARIRANG tour will begin in Tampa on April 25, with stops in Mexico City, Las Vegas, Toronto, Chicago, and more. It will conclude with four-night shows at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles with 31 shows in total. Tickets for BTS’ ARIRANG tour were available for presale Jan. 22-23rd, followed by a general sale on Jan. 24. We’d recommend checking Ticketmaster periodically to see if new tickets have been added. If not, third-party ticketing sites are your best bet at securing seats. Below we’ve listed out a few of those third-party sites, along with a few deals on us, that’ll hopefully help you snag the tickets you’ve been searching for.

While you’re at it, why not shop the boy band’s merch to prep for your concert attendance? Shop our picks here.

Bruno Mars announced more than 40 dates during the United States leg of his The Romantic Tour in 2026, while it starts on Friday (Apr. 10) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The pop star then heads off to Canada and Europe before returning back to North America for even more dates to close out the tour.

Throughout the tour, recording artists DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak), Leon Thomas, Victoria Monét and RAYE are scheduled to support with various dates.

Tickets to the tour first went on sale through Live Nation and Ticketmaster, while the retailer’s Face Value Exchange program is an option for fans to resell tickets.

However, many of the dates have either sold out, or are very close to selling out, so one of the best ways to find Bruno Mars tickets online is through third-party sites, including StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and others — all of which guarantee authentic tickets in time for the event.

In addition, we like that tickets are all delivered digitally, so you can get them sent instantly to your smartphone or email. Prices may also be above or below face value at times.

As WWE marches toward WrestleMania season, wrestling superstar Becky Lynch stands closer to in-ring immortality than ever before. Lauded by Bleacher Report and Sports Illustrated as the greatest female wrestler of all time, “Big Time Becks” is no longer motivated by fear – she’s driven by control. Lynch’s audacious attitude and unshakable Irish grit have allowed her to surpass every standard set before her, especially now as WWE’s reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Alongside defending her title on a near-weekly basis, Lynch is also starring in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy on Paramount+. At home, she’s raising her five-year-old daughter Roux with husband and fellow WWE superstar Seth Rollins; a balancing act fans can see up close in season two of WWE: Unreal on Netflix.

While that duality has tested Lynch in new ways, her unflappable confidence — now sharpened by a calculating, heel-leaning persona — has only elevated her swagger. The result is a version of Lynch that feels both untouchable and essential, must-see television for longtime diehards and a new generation of fans alike.

“There is nothing I can’t do right now,” Lynch tells Billboard via Zoom. “Just give me anything and I’ll make it work. There is nothing I can’t talk my way out of or explain my way out of. I have the greatest lawyers backing me. I have a whole team and a whole universe that isn’t even on camera pulling the strings. There’s nothing I can’t do right now.”

For Entry 017 of Mic Drops and Leg Drops, Lynch briefly spoke to Carl Lamarre earlier this month about wrestling alongside her husband Seth Rollins, her dream match with Toni Storm and more.

You previously worked with Seth Rollins before you both teamed up again last year for The Vision storyline. What made this creative run feel more fruitful or different this time around?

The last time we didn’t know each other in our relationship setting. We just started dating. We were together like two months at that point. Then, all of a sudden, we were thrust onto TV and were trying to figure out how our dynamic as characters worked when we hadn’t even figured out how our dynamic in a relationship worked.

If that wasn’t bad enough, you had the announcers every two seconds saying that we were in a real life relationship and people were just nauseated by it. We didn’t know what we were doing. We didn’t know how to interact with each other. It was tense, hard and difficult. We felt like we were doing something wrong.

Now, we’ve been married for nearly five years, have a daughter together and know each other [more]. We’re very comfortable where we’re settled into our relationship and dynamic. To be able to bring that to the screen with characters that are just larger than life and mesh together quite well [is great]. “Big Time Becks” and Seth Freakin Rollins are a bit much [laughs]. Together, it works out perfectly.

You’re a best-selling author, a multi-time world champion, and now you’re stepping into acting. Are Hollywood accolades something you’re actively chasing, or are you simply doing it for the love of the game?

Gosh. I think maybe a little bit of both, but mostly for the love of the game because I just love performance in whatever medium that may be. Whether it’s on WWE, Star Trek, Happy Gilmore or Billions, I love it. I absolutely love it. I love working and I’m going to be working until the wheels fall off. But one day, the wheels are going to fall off when it comes to wrestling and then you gotta be thinking what’s next?

As a surefire Hall of Famer with nothing left to prove, what still drives you to step into the ring week after week?

Right now, it’s all the purpose of a story. I think that’s the thing when you kind of accomplished everything, you come back to the bare bones. You come back to, “Why do I do this in the first place? Well, I love it. Well, OK. How can I make this better than it was when I found it? How we can lift up the next generation? Who’s gonna be the people that take over next and how we can make sure that they’re in a position to succeed. How can we tell the best stories? How can we get the audience invested? How can we get new eyes on the business? How can I make people feel the way I felt when I was a fan?”

As an Irish wrestler who came up overseas, how do you compare the edge and instincts of international talent versus today’s homegrown American stars?

When you’re coming from overseas, you have to set up a whole new life. You’re coming in and you have to buy furniture, a car and you have to really settle in versus when you’re already in America. Your family is here and you can drive your car down, it’s different. You really have to burn the boat and know you’re not going back.

There is the perils of where you might not make the cut and that’s the thing of when I was coming up, it was really cutthroat. My roommate Joe — who now runs OTT Wrestling is incredible and amazing — got fired. Everything he had set up, he had to sell and get rid of. Then you’re going back to Ireland and have to set a life there again. I think when you’re coming from overseas, you have a bit more of that “Live or Die” attitude.

If there were an open-door invasion and you could wrestle anyone from any promotion today, who would you choose and what kind of match would you want it to be?

Well, I’d probably wrestle Toni Storm. I always wanted to wrestle her. I was bummed when she left and she’s doing amazing work over there at [AEW]. It’s absolutely amazing. Let’s make it a Dublin Street Fight. I do love a good street fight or maybe a Hell in a Cell. Yeah, let’s make it a Hell in a Cell.

If your daughter Roux ever wanted to pursue wrestling, what’s the one piece of advice you’d give her that has nothing to do with what happens in the ring?

Oh gosh. Just keep your head about ya. As much as this is a physical game, a lot of it is a mental game too. So it’s about kind of keeping your head about ya. That’s it. Just keep your feet planted on the ground and remember where you came from.

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, revealed on Monday (Jan. 26) that she sent a diplomatic note to South Korea’s prime minister, Kim Min-seok, requesting his intervention for BTS to offer more concerts in the Latin American country after tickets for the three spring dates the K-pop supergroup scheduled at GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City sold out in less than an hour.

“BTS is very popular among Mexican youth. The concerts will be in May, and around a million youngsters want to buy tickets, but there are only 150,000 available,” Sheinbaum said during her usual morning press conference.

Promoter OCESA reported on Saturday (Jan. 24) that BTS’ scheduled shows for May 7, 9 and 10 in Mexico City are completely gone. According to Ticketmaster Mexico, 1.1 million people queued in the virtual line for the three dates, and tickets sold out within 37 minutes. The presale for members of the ARMY (as BTS fans are known) took place on Friday (Jan. 23), while the general sale went ahead as planned on Saturday (Jan. 24).

Sheinbaum’s request to her South Korean counterpart comes amid controversy over the presale and high demand for BTS tickets, which prompted the Mexican government to demand transparency in ticket sales. Sheinbaum explained on Monday that the weekend was marked by complaints about ticket resales and the lack of clarity in the process, which led her to contact OCESA.

“I spoke with the head of OCESA, which is the organizer, with [general director] Alejandro Soberón. I asked him what the possibility was for more [BTS] concerts, because throughout the weekend, there were complaints about the alleged resale of tickets,” the Mexican president added. Soberón’s response, according to Sheinbaum, was that there were no more dates available, which led the president to take the matter through diplomatic channels and send a note to the South Korean prime minister.

The controversy over BTS tickets led Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) to intervene after detecting hundreds of dissatisfied customers during ticket sales through monitoring and complaints received from consumers, said Iván Escalante, head of the government agency, on Monday during the presidential conference.

Escalante reported that Profeco would initiate a “procedure for infringement of the law” against Ticketmaster Mexico due to an alleged lack of transparency in the information provided to consumers. Additionally, resale platforms like StubHub and Viagogo will be sanctioned for engaging in allegedly abusive and unfair practices.

The frenzy sparked by the announcement of BTS’ 2026 Arirang World Tour in Mexico drove resale prices in the country up to $9,000. Billboard Español sent a request for comment to Ticketmaster Mexico, which did not immediately respond.

Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” tops both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts for a sixth week. The song holds atop each list, after debuting atop the tallies in October.

Plus, Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life,” rejuvenated from 2015, hits the Global 200 top 10 and Dave and Tems’ “Raindance” rises to the top 10 on Global Excl. U.S.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

“The Fate of Ophelia” leads the Global 200 with 58 million streams and 12,000 sold worldwide in the week ending Jan. 22.

The entire Global 200’s top five remains in place, with Djo’s “End of Beginning” at No. 2, two weeks after it became the singer-songwriter and actor’s first Global 200 No. 1; HUNTR/X’s “Golden” at No. 3, after 18 weeks on top beginning last July; Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might” at No. 4 in its second week on the chart; and Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” at No. 5, after reaching No. 3.

Zara Larsson earns her first Global 200 top 10, as “Lush Life” leaps 11-8 led by 35 million streams worldwide. The Swedish artist released the song in June 2015; it hit the chart for the first time in December as it surged in viral activity. A week ago, it reached the top 10 on Global Excl. U.S., where this week it rises to No. 7. (“U.S., catch up!,” she teased/commanded.)

“The Fate of Ophelia” rules Global Excl. U.S. with 44.7 million streams and 5,000 sold outside the U.S.

“End of Beginning” is steady at its No. 2 Global Excl. U.S. high; “Golden” keeps at No. 3 after a record 20 weeks at No. 1 since July; RAYE’s “Where Is My Husband!” has and holds a No. 5 best; and “I Just Might” drops 4-5 in its second week.

Elsewhere, Dave and Tems’ “Raindance” climbs 12-8 on Global Excl. U.S., powered by 27.6 million streams beyond the U.S. The new No. 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart marks the second Global Excl. U.S. top 10 for Dave, from London, and the first for Tems, from Nigeria.

The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated Jan. 31, 2026) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow, Jan. 27. For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard’s subscription-based service.
