HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from the soundtrack to the hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, scores a fourth nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. In July, the song became the first leader on each list for the act, whose music is voiced by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, which began in September 2020 rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.
Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.
“Golden” tops the Global 200 with 118.2 million streams (up 4% week-over-week) and 13,000 sold (up 30%) worldwide in the week ending Aug. 7.
Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” holds at No. 2 on the Global 200 after 10 weeks on top beginning in May.
Chappell Roan’s “The Subway” tunnels onto the Global 200 at No. 3 with 55 million streams and 8,000 sold Aug. 1-7, following the recording’s July 31 release (after fans waited patiently for it to arrive). It’s the singer-songwriter’s best debut and rank, as she adds her third top 10: “Good Luck, Babe!” rose to No. 5 last September and “The Giver” entered at its No. 10 peak in March.
On Global Excl. U.S., “The Subway” starts at No. 10 with 30.3 million streams and 3,000 sold outside the U.S. Chappell Roan scores her second top 10 on the chart, after “Pink Pony Club” hit No. 7 last October.
Rounding out the Global 200’s top five are two more songs from KPop Demon Hunters: Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop,” down to No. 4 from its No. 3 high, and “Your Idol,” which ascends 6-5 also after hitting No. 3.
“Golden” leads Global Excl. U.S. with 87.4 million streams (up 3%) and 7,000 sold (up 24%) outside the U.S.
“Ordinary” lifts 3-2 on Global Excl. U.S., following eight weeks at No. 1 starting in May; BLACKPINK’s “Jump” falls 2-3, three weeks after it launched at No. 1; “Soda Pop” rises 5-4 for a new best; and Faheem Abdullah’s “Saiyaara” slips to No. 5 from its No. 4 high.
